Think of the community baby shower as a garage sale where everything is free. Families come and get items they need, and you get to clean out all the clothes and gadgets that you no longer need- keeping them out of the landfil and supporting the next growing family.

You can purchase items directly from our Amazon wish list HERE. Or you can give back your new and gently used pregnancy and parenting items such as:

• postpartum care items

• clothes (baby, toddler, and maternity)

• blankets, burp rags

• carriers

• car seats

• diapers, wipes

• high chairs

• cribs

• full pump sets

• non-open, non-expired formula

• and MOR

You can become a donation drop off spot for your neighborhood and fellow families to collect items (ideas listed above), sort and organize them, and get them to GALS the week of or day before the shower.

You don't have to tell us you are doing this, but we'd love to know! Send us an email at info@givingaustinlaborsupport.org letting us know your location and the dates of your drive, or tag us in your social media posts about it!

We always need volunteers to help :

• The week of the event - organizing the storage unit and collecting items from community drop spots

• The day before - transporting items to the shower location, organizing the space

• The day of - setting up, assisting families, and cleaning up after
