My name is Jasz and I'm a boy mom to a 5 and 1.5 year old. We moved to Austin about 2 years ago from Los Angeles and I felt called to birth-work after having an exceptional home birth for my youngest. The experience was so quick that my husband and I ended up delivering our little one by ourselves, with our midwife and doula arriving shortly after. The overall experience ignited a passion to support other women through the birthing process and remind them of the power that's within.

I'm a holistic practitioner that practices hands-on healing (reiki), crystal healing, guided meditations and have online offerings to help bring mind, body and spirit into alignment, called Naturally Boundless. After ten years as a nanny I moved into birth doula-ing because I wanted to be able to really support new parents in some of the busiest and most hectic moments of their lives. As a queer woman I also had a lot of friends whose unique family situations made them nervous about a hospital birth. I wanted to be able to be there and support them while also affirming whatever journey they might have been through to get to birth. My journey towards birthwork began with a journey of my own body, trusting movement and self-expression through the body to heal, feel, create, and empower. My approach to birth is shaped by the principles of trusting the process, holding space for whatever comes up, bearing sacred witness, and steadiness. Birth, to me, is a primal, physical, powerful, sensual, and even spiritual experience. I love that this transition weaves together all aspects of self. In addition to birthwork, I'm involved in the local farmers market scene. I'm very interested in food and sustainable food practices, and currently work for a local mushroom farm. I believe that birth is a profound, transformative, and sacred journey that every human who chooses to embark on deserves to experience with spaciousness, strength, and empowerment.

As a full spectrum doula, I offer compassionate, client-centered support tailored to your unique needs; whether that's offering informational counsel, emotional guidance, physical comfort, or simply holding space as a dedicated witness. I work closely with my clients to uncover what will be most impactful during this profound time, what is most important to you, and how to honor and protect that. I’m here to ensure that your voice is heard, your body remains yours, and to be a source of light (and laughter) in the haze of uncertainty.

I believe in full-spectrum support, informed choice, and thoughtful advocacy for pregnant people and their families.

My passions in recent years have led me to plant based nutrition certification, yoga teacher training, continued volunteer work with individuals with disabilities, and becoming a full spectrum doula. I value the power of the village and deep connections with others to learn and grow in compassion and inclusivity. My empathic model of care guides me to uplifting and empowering others with a sense of agency. I believe in the power and beauty of humanity in the way we offer love and service as we uplift one another. Caretaking is my love language, and nurturing others through the joys and challenges of life transitions is my passion. I love bringing comfort and creating sacred spaces and special memories for and with others.

    ON CALL - JAIL SUPPORT

I am a Certified Professional Midwife specializing in maternity care in the community, and I teach at the Midwives College of Utah. Since 2015 I have attended hundreds of births as both a doula and midwife, in which every one is unique in their own way. My passion lies in public health and health equity; I strongly believe that every individual has the right to autonomy in their healthcare decisions especially during such a transformative experience. My role with GALS is to help families achieve a positive birth experience by maintaining their autonomy and providing them with the information and support they need throughout the process. When I'm not attending births, teaching, or advocating for families, you can find me enjoying the great outdoors, camping, and cooking.

I completed my doula training through Commonsense Childbirth Institute, who’s curriculum focuses on maternal justice. Before this, I was a high school AVID Coordinator for 9 years, helping underrepresented populations not only succeed in high school but get into college. I was inspired to pursue birth work after becoming a parent and experiencing how powerful and transformative the birthing process was. Being a doula has brought me so much joy. I believe that connecting with and supporting families during such a vulnerable and important time in their lives, providing access to care, educating and overall empowering birthing people is truly fundamental for healthy maternal/ birthing outcomes.

I am the proud mama of a magical 2 year old. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, rock climbing, taking my dog on walks, reading, watching TV, listening to podcasts, baking, and eating. I was born in Guatemala and moved to the states when I was 7 years old. Spanish is my first language. I got a Bachelors in Marketing at Missouri State University and moved to Austin shortly thereafter. I have been married for 5 years.

I look forward to working with you and your family!
