Supporting over 300 births in the last 10 years, Giving Austin Labor Support is proud to celebrate their commitment to the Central Texas community. GALS is an organization of dedicated volunteers who provide emotional, physical and informational support to those who are alone or under-supported through their birth experience in order to improve birth outcomes and empower women and their families. Join us for a showing of The Business of Being Born, an inspiring and informative documentary which first made its debut in 2008 (just like us) and led many people to desire better maternity care for themselves, their families, as well as inspiring a generation of birthworkers.
