A GALS Disco Fundraiser

GALS has thrown many different types of fundraisers in the past, from informal coffee hangouts, to happy hours, movie screenings to actual plays. But our favorite type of fundraiser is a party. Why? Because we live in a time where there is very easy access to the terrible happenings in our neighborhoods and across the world, and it’s very easy to forget that every second of every day, goodness happens.

So with that, we are so excited to invite you to celebrate the goodness with us. Let your hair down, join into community, and find an evening of fun! We are intentionally celebrating GALS, and the impact the birthworkers and childcare specialists have made in the lives of families over the last 17 years. We are channeling our own play and joy into collective action - raising money and support for our work and mission to bring rest, healing, and joy into more families’ transition into parenthood.

I would LOVE to invite you to partner with GALS as we celebrate 17 years of supporting families in Central Texas. GALS Disco is our 2025 Fundraising event! We are creating a really magical celebration to be held at The Cathedral on the night of Friday, November 7th. We have 6 different sponsorship levels, ranging from $250 to $8,000 - as well as in-kind support offerings for alcohol, food, and an auction.

At the GALS Disco, we're expecting 100-150 people to attend the event including community members, small business owners, parents, health care providers, nonprofit leaders, as well as the many supporters of GALS work. We count on businesses and individuals sponsorship in order to serve the birthing people in our community and we’d love to partner with you to improve birth outcomes and ensure no one births alone!
