Request birth support

Get doula support during your pregnancy, in birth and after.

GALS provides families who qualify with free doula support. Doulas are non-medical care providers who help you navigate the perinatal period.

Prenatal Doula Program: 2-3 prenatal visits, on-call birth support at your birthing location, 2 postpartum visits.

Postpartum Doula Program: in-home visits to support your healing and mental wellness. These visits are several hours long and can help you process your birth, navigate changing relationships, and help you with basic care of the baby and household.

All programs include access to basic needs support such as pregnancy and baby supplies, and access to a postpartum meal.

Who qualifies:

• people experiencing low income

• people on Dell Children’s Health Plan - Medicaid

• those who are experiencing homelessness

• young/teen parents

• people receiving services from Any Baby Can, LifeWorks, or another service provider

Please know that our programs are limited and while we try to serve all families who request support, you may be directed to our On Call Program if we are at capacity. We may be able to refer you to another Doula program in the community if we are at capacity or if you don’t qualify for our programs.
